RECENT PROJECTS

Direct Generation Ltd has recently been awarded the contract for the supply and installation of the standby generators for Basildon Hospital. The generators will integrate with the hospitals electrical infrastructure to provide critical back-up power in case of a local utility failure.

The contract scope of supply Consist of the following:

• 2 x 900KVA standby rated Diesel Generators
• Common acoustic container to achieve 75dBA @1mtr
• 48hr (20,000ltr) Self Bunded Bulk Oil Storage Tank and associated Double Skinned Fuel Pipework
• Generator and Mains Synchronising and distribution panel
• Common Section – PLC controlled with the facility for twin mains synchronising, load monitoring, breaker control and soft-load transfer on mains return
• Integration with the site BMS system

The major feature of this project is the capability of Direct Generation to combine the quality and reliability of the CAT diesel generator with the design, programming and manufacture of a PLC based control system, tailored to specific customer requirements
