RECENT PROJECTS

Following some fierce local competition, Direct Generation have been awarded the contract to supply a total of nine various sized diesel generators to the Northern Ireland Water – North Coast Generation Scheme, via the contractors Biwater Treatment Limited.

The general scope of supply for this contract consists of the following major items:

• 2 x CAT 3508 - 1100KVA containerised Diesel generators
• 1 x CAT 3512 – 1250KVA generator for plantroom installation
• 1 x CAT C18 – 650KVA generator for plantroom installation
• 2 x 150KVA generators for plantroom installation
• 1 x 150KVA containerised diesel generator
• 1 x 150KVA mobile generator
• 1 x 83KVA generator for plantroom installation

All nine sites not only include for the supply of the generators but also all site works including; delivery, offloading, fuel storage, mechanical and electrical installation and commissioning. The award of this contract amidst strong competition emphasises Direct Generation’s ability to compete, competitively, in the market by combining the quality of the Caterpillar product with our in-house design and project management.
